Donations are for designating the dedication and memorialization of gifts to the Chapel as listed, and will be memorialized by appropriate engraved plates. Other donations not designating particular gifts may be submitted in honor of or in memory of the intentions of the donor. All gifts of five hundred dollars or more will be memorialized by appropriate engraved plates.

GIFTS OF LIGHT TO THE CHAPEL

All fixtures are solid brass, Traditional Colonial Williamsburg design. Lighting in the Chapel is crucial to the various needs of the diverse functions and services. More than a mile of new wiring has been installed inside and outside the Chapel. The fixtures afford the greatest flexibility in light control, from brilliant full lighting, to dimmed lights for candlelight services, fading to complete darkness for audio-visual presentations. Safety and emergency lighting is included in the complete lighting program. Additional lighting includes recessed down-lights over the congregation and also focused accent lighting to highlight the Memorials and wall decorations.

GRAND CHANDELIER - (Donation: $5,000.00) Dedicated to all innocent victims whose perished September 11, 2001. In the center, the "heart" of the body of the Chapel. The Grand Chandelier is six feet in diameter and is five feet in height. Dedicated in memory of all innocent victims of September 11, 2001. In honor of U.S. Navy National Memorial. THE FOUR FLIGHTS OF HONOR CHANDELIERS - (Donation: $500.00/each) Four chandeliers, each located in one corner of the Chapel, dedicated to the Four Flights of Honor of September 11, 2001.

TORCH OF LIBERTY - 14' Titanium steel fabrication torch supported by four ribbons of steel, each for the four Flights of September 11th, 2001. The Torch is the gift of the Families of Flight 93 to the Memorial Chapel. Dedicated September 10th. Dedicated to the Heroes of Flight 93 The Families of Flight 93

TORCH OF LIBERTY LAMP - The Torch will support a specially designed two and a quarter million candle power spot light lamp when funding is available. The beam projected into the sky will be seen in a radius of 20 miles from the Chapel. The cost of the spotlight is $10,400.00.

HELP LIGHT THE TORCH: Individual donations of $100.00 will be published in a special commemorative book published for the First Lighting of the Memorial Torch and donors will receive a copy of the book by mail. PENNSYLVANIA TURNPIKE TRIBUTE BILLBOARD: Pennsylvania Turnpike travels East and West one and a half miles south of the Chapel and Shanksville. A billboard designed to identify the Beam of Liberty will alert travelers and identify the beam in honor of Flight 93 at the Memorial Chapel at Shanksville and will inform travelers they are in the proximity of Shanksville. The donor of the billboard lease will be identified on the billboard.

FAMILY GROVE - GAZEBO- ($5,000.00) The Grove is a beautiful stand of mature trees occupying one quarter of the full acre site upon which the Chapel is located. The Family Gazebo will be large enough to accommodate picnic tables The Grove is used as a place for rest and refreshment for visitors.
